About Me
It might be anxiety, but it's not "just anxiety." Anxiety can look like a shaky moment after too much coffee, or it can feel like a constant, crushing storm of physical symptoms that don't let up, day or night, for weeks, months, or even years. I know, because I lived it.
Dizziness, insomnia, nerve pain, vertigo, head pressure, ringing ears, rapid weight loss, loss of appetite, constant panic, dissociation, heart palpitations, tingling, burning, pain, confusion; these symptoms were just skimming the surface of what I experienced all day, every day for weeks and months on end.
I drained my savings. I maxed out credit cards. I sat in doctor after doctor's office, tried every supplement, every diet, every new protocol I could find. Nothing worked. I was sure I would never live normally again. I didn't even want to exist. I just wanted to fade away. I spent my days either in tears, panic, or defeat, constantly googling my symptoms, looking for someone, ANYone, who could explain what was happening, or who had experienced something so rapidly debilitating.
If any of this sounds familiar, I want you to know you're not alone, and I want to help.
When I was at my worst, I believed I was the one who couldn't be helped. The exception. Too far gone. Beyond repair. But that wasn't true. Recovery is possible. Life can feel good again.

Testimonial
“After my sixth ER visit, countless specialist appointments, an MRI, a CAT scan, full neurological and cardiac workups, and more blood tests than I can remember, all I was told was: “It’s just anxiety.” My world felt like it was collapsing. I knew what anxiety felt like, I had lived with it my whole life, but this was different. My entire body felt like a war zone, my nervous system felt completely out of control.
Desperate for answers, I turned to TikTok late one night during another bout of insomnia. That’s when I came across Amy. Within seconds of watching her video, I burst into tears... her story was so much like mine. On impulse, I reached out, never expecting a reply. But she answered, and not just once. For the next five months, despite being in the middle of her own healing journey, Amy responded to every message I sent. She offered advice, reassurance, and kindness during some of the darkest days of my life.
Through this, we built a genuine friendship. We still laugh about our shared personality traits, and we continue to support one another through recovery. If anything good has come from those painful months, it’s the bond we’ve formed.
Amy is incredibly knowledgeable in this field. Through her content, experience, and personal touch, she has helped countless people like me. I never imagined one of my biggest supporters and sources of hope would be a stranger from across the country, but that’s the kind of impact Amy has.
I highly recommend working with Amy. She not only understands anxiety on a deep level, but she also brings compassion, insight, and lived experience that make all the difference in the recovery process.”

The Complexity of Anxiety Symptoms
An overly reactive nervous system, or dysregulated nervous system can cause far more than your run-of-the-mill “anxiety” symptoms. The sensations (symptoms) can become incredibly complex, persistant, and shifting. After searching for answers under every proverbial rock I could find, I eventually learned just how many crazy sensations a sensitized nervous system can create. Because so many people ask me specifically about my symptoms, I put together a list of the most common symptoms experienced by both myself, and individuals I have worked with and encountered on this recovery path. Let’s get to the root of your symptoms, and learn a response that works for you, not against you!
